The Kumquat Tree earns its place. Glossy green leaves, fragrant white blossom and bright orange fruit all on the same plant make it feel more like a small piece of the Mediterranean than a typical patio tree.


Unlike most citrus, kumquats are eaten whole, skin and all. The peel is sweet, the flesh is tart, and the fruit hangs on the tree for surprisingly long periods, adding colour well beyond the harvest.


It's a great choice for sunny patios, balconies and courtyards where you want something productive as well as ornamental. Given enough light, it rewards you with scented flowers, edible fruit and year round structure.

A few house rules...

Light

Give it as much light as possible. Outdoors, a sunny sheltered spot is ideal. Indoors, place close to a bright south or west facing window where it can enjoy several hours of direct sun.
Watering

Water when the top few centimetres of compost feel dry. Keep the soil evenly moist during spring and summer, but avoid letting it sit in water.
Important Info

Protect from hard frost. It can spend the warmer months outdoors and be moved to a bright, sheltered position during winter.

Delivery is £5.99 and free on orders over £70.

Orders arrive in two to five working days. We aim to ship orders within 24 hours with next day delivery in order to reduce transit time, although sometimes dispatch may be slightly delayed depending on stock levels. All deliveries are fully tracked.

XL plants in London are hand delivered.

Returns

We stand by our plants. If your plant arrives damaged, let us know within twenty four hours with a photo and we will sort a replacement or refund.

All plants come with a 14 day guarantee. If anything happens to your plant despite proper care, we will refund or send out a new one.
