Pachira is best known for its braided trunk and bright green, hand shaped leaves. It has a lighter, more open feel than denser foliage plants, which makes it good for adding height and greenery without making a room feel crowded.

It’s often called the Money Tree because it’s traditionally associated with luck and prosperity, but honestly, most people buy it because it just looks good. The braided stem gives it structure straight away, while the leaves keep things softer and more relaxed.

It’s also fairly unfussy once settled in and works well in homes, studios and offices where you want something easygoing but still impactful.

A few house rules...

Light

This plant thrives in bright, indirect light but also tolerates medium light. A little soft morning sun is fine, but avoid strong afternoon rays. Turn it every so often so it keeps that even, upright shape.
Watering

• Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry
• Give a good soak and allow excess to drain away. Never allow it to sit in water
• Water less often during cooler months
• Wipe the leaves now and then to keep them glossy

We stand by our plants. If your plant arrives damaged, let us know within twenty four hours with a photo and we will sort a replacement or refund.

All plants come with a 14 day guarantee. If anything happens to your plant despite proper care, we will refund or send out a new one.
