Ficus Ginseng is one of the easiest bonsai-style plants to live with. Its thick, sculpted trunk gives it the look of a tiny old tree, while the neat canopy of glossy leaves keeps it feeling fresh and modern. If you like the look of bonsai but want something forgiving and steady, this is a great place to start.

A few house rules...

Light

Ficus Ginseng enjoys bright, indirect light and will stay happiest near a window where the daylight is steady but not harsh. It can cope with medium light too, though growth will be slower. Keep it out of strong midday sun to protect its leaves.
Watering

Let the top layer of soil dry out slightly before watering again. Water thoroughly, then allow any extra to drain so the roots never sit in water. It appreciates a bit of humidity, especially in warm rooms, but is generally unfussy.
